We are looking to add a 1st Shift Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to our team! We provide a casual and flexible working environment and a great opportunity to get on board with a growing company.

Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for coordinating with rental companies to schedule crane and forklift rentals for loading, unloading, and moving all equipment. They will arrange pick-up and delivery of equipment with over the road trucking companies as needed. This person will determine the number of personnel required to assist with tasks related to this position and schedule them accordingly. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining records including packing lists for shipment, weight and dimensions of equipment sections and loading diagrams for shipments. More responsibilities include tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise, ensuring that all equipment and machinery is properly prepared for shipping and/or storage, and actively participating in team meetings to communicate both incoming and outgoing shipments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this position will be interacting with both internal and external persons. They must have the ability to multitask, plan, organize and manage their workloads. This person must be forklift certified (or willing to obtain certification) and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and experience and the comfort of towing a trailer in a safe manner. Basic math skills including an understanding of weights and dimensions is required as well as basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office. The ability to regularly lift 50 pounds is required and experience with rigging is a plus, but not required. This is primarily a shop position but may require infrequent travel to assist with field coordination of shipments.
