The First Shift Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing the maintenance for the digesters, compressors and pipelines. Conducting electrical troubleshooting, in addition to creating, implementing, and maintaining a sustainable parts inventory system.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, open-minded, and adaptive to change with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. This position is responsible for the safe and dependable operating condition of all equipment in the RNG facility, including updating records and logs. Other responsibilities include implementing professional analytical tests and preparing equipment for maintenance activities with strict adherence to safety compliance.

Excellent communication skills are required at all levels within Maintenance and Operations along with outside agencies. Will require rapid response when equipment malfunctions, in addition to maintaining a high level of housekeeping within the plant and performing all work as assigned. Must adhere to high standards associated with safety and workmanship.

Qualifications

For this position, you must have a high school diploma (or GED) and experience working in Industrial Manufacturing, PLC programming, inventory, and advanced/diverse maintenance skills. Additional requirements include proper and safe use of hand and power tools, ability to operate trucks, loaders, skid steers, and other similar equipment, along with strong computer skills, and/or a willingness to learn new software. Prefer experience with renewable energy production and/or experience in wastewater treatment.
