Dramm Corporation (www.dramm.com) manufactures and distributes a complete line of professional greenhouse tools, related equipment, and liquid fertilizers around the globe. Dramm is a respected name in the lawn and garden industry, and in the commercial horticultural industry for commercial, organic and consumer products. We are looking to add a motivated and hardworking employee to our Fertilizer Division Compliance Team. This role is responsible for coordinating and recording Division activities in regard to industry regulatory requirements, as well as month to month Division sales and inventory summary reporting.

  1. Manage data reporting and related payments to municipal authorities; maintain complete, accurate and retrievable records of payments and
    1. Licensing
    2. Tonnage (shipments) reporting
  2. Manage periodic reporting of product label designs and specifications to regulatory agencies and states; irregular reporting of all new Dramm fertilizer labels, or modifications to existing labels.
    1. Coordinate the creation and revision of Dramm fertilizer labels with Dramm Art Department.
  3. Manage purchasing and monitor inventories of Fertilizer Segment packaging items:
    1. Bottles, caps, labels, drums, IBC totes, offal collection totes,
  4. Provide Internal MONTH END reporting of sales, inventory, and related
    1. Utilize internal database system to collect and
    2. Collect and report month end product, input, and consumables inventory
  5. Maintain records of laboratory testing requests, orders, and completed testing data/results for
    1. Work with various laboratories when submitting samples for production and customer requirement
      1. Maintain a complete and accurate log of requested
    2. Maintain a complete and accurate database of test results that can be manipulated and analyzed based upon any analysis result
    3. Review and approve related invoices as
  6. Coordinate reimbursements to Dramm Fertilizer Division Fish Offal Suppliers; log receipts from suppliers and notify Dramm A/P.
  7. Support requests from sales team and customers for product samples, documentation, trade show booth materials, etc. delivered on a timely
  8. Document and maintain records of customer requirements, special requests, and
  9. Maintain relationships with key regulatory agencies, and other interested
    1. Monitor regulatory agencies’ meeting plans and agendas and prepare summaries and pre-action plans for the
  10. Back up Fertilizer Production Manager when
  11. Other related support duties as they arise

Qualifications – Required

  • MINIMUM: Post-secondary educational and or related work experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Flexible work schedule that may include some evening and weekend work
  • Ability to reliably multitask and maintain a high attention to detail
  • Willing and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Computer literate (MS Office)

 Qualifications – Preferred, But Not Required

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • Experience with a quality management system approach in a manufacturing environment, or food safety program
  • Experience with organic input manufacturing, specifically reporting and coordinating regulatory activities
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office) to create and manage multiple databases
