Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. is looking for a Business Developer who would be responsible for identifying, initiating contact, and managing ongoing relations with potential clients.

What you will do

The ideal candidate will actively seek out new opportunities for projects assigned to their geographic region and type while also seeking and developing relationships with organizations and individuals with access to early knowledge of potential projects and development opportunities. This person will involve others in discussions with clients and in other business development activities in an efficient manner to strengthen and maintain client relationships. They will utilize CRM software to create effective internal communication and accountability while also providing input as to participation and approach for proposals, interviews, and other key sales functions.

What you need to have

For this position, you must have a minimum of three years of similar experience – selling design, construction, i.e. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have excellent proven sales and persuasive skills and be able to influence the actions and opinions of others through preparation, tenacity, shared knowledge and commitment to corporate mission. They must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, file-sharing, business and design software required to perform assigned work; maintains proficiency as these systems change. Excellent organizational skills are a must.
